The Eurolive Study

Programme

Several studies in humans will be carried out within the EUROLIVE Study in order to obtain scientific evidence on the impact of olive oil, and its phenolic compounds, on oxidative stress and damage in several European populations.

Three types of olive oils (low, medium, and high phenolic content) will be administered to healthy volunteers.

The research helps European Consumer in evaluating the benefits of various types of olive oil, and providing nutritional guidelines for olive oil consumption, taking into account phenolic content and price.
